Zeke and Alec are brothers who had to return to Florida after being with their grandparents for several years up north. They are still in shock and struggle to believe all the changes they’ve been through. Being placed in a group home because there are no foster homes available is hard to understand as an adult – and even harder as a kid. A dynamic husband and wife GAL team were assigned and are perfect for Zeke and Alec! The GALs are super active and have done so much with the boys including trips to Disney World. One would think middle school boys may not enjoy Disney – but that’s wrong – they love it and look forward to going with their GALs. Spending so much time with Zeke and Alec has helped the boys to trust and understand there is someone looking out for them. The therapist at the boys’ group home accounts their positive adjustment to the GALs involvement. The GALs think the world of these boys and will continue to advocate for them until an amazing forever family is found!
