School Supply Requests

Purpose: to ensure that GAL children have the necessary supplies they need for back to school.

What is the deadline for requests? All requests need to be completed by 5pm on June 9, 2021.  

How can I make a request? Fill out one request form for EACH child who has a need. 

Where can I find the form?

Will my GAL child also receive a backpack?  We have heard from many of you that your GAL children often receive multiple backpacks each year, so we have opted to only provide backpacks upon request.  Please let us know if your GAL child needs a backpack in addition to school supplies and we are happy to provide it!

What school supplies will be provided? 
•    Pocket folder with prongs (all)
•    Filler paper (grades 2-12)
•    #2 pencils & wedge eraser (all)
•    Crayons(grades k-1) or colored pencils (grades 2-12)
•    Markers (grades k-1) or highlighters (grades 2-12)
•    Pencil box (grades k-1) or pouch (grades 2-12)
•    Safety scissors & glue sticks (grades k-5) or ruler & pens (grades 6-12)

Can I request an item that is not on the supply list above that my child needs?  Yes. We will do our best to accommodate special requests.

Pinellas Pick up:

When: Tuesday, July 27th  

Time: 4pm - 6pm

Where: TBD



Pasco Pickups

When: Wednesday, July 28th

Time:  4pm - 6pm

    Where: NPR GAL Office

8324 Corporate Way  New Port Richey, FL 



When: Thursday, July 29th

Time:  4pm - 6pm

    Where: Dade City GAL Office

13920 17th St.  Dade City



Please note, if you are unable to make the pick up time and location you selected, please make sure to arrange for someone else (family member, friend or caregiver)

to pick up the back packs on your behalf. 




.  We will not have extra backpacks/supplies at the distribution sites, please get your request in no later than June 9th.
