Bed & Bedding: Isaiah & Taylor
Isaiah & Taylor were sheltered from the father after allegations of domestic violence between their father and his girlfriend. At shelter Isaiah & Taylor were placed with their mother, who had been fighting the father in family court for custody of the boys for years. Shortly after they were placed with the mother, her fiancée broke up with her and demanded she move out with the boys. The mother had nowhere to go and ended up living with her sister, even though the space was very limited. Isaiah & Taylor sleep on the couch in the living room, unfortunately, the couch is only big enough for one boy so Isaiah ends up sleeping on the floor. Isaiah needed a bed or air mattress to accommodate good sleep so he can focus in school while his family is experiencing this transition. Although the mother works full time, she is not able to afford a place of her own yet. The mother has had to cut back on hours at work to be home with the boys. The boys also needed bedding sets, they didn't have blankets through the cold from last week. Thank you to donors like you for providing a safe place for these brothers to sleep at night!
